(1) Pre-operation Checks:
- The operator's walking path, line of sight, and the route along which the load travels must be free of obstacles and suspended debris.
- The "Up," "Down," "Left," and "Right" buttons on the pendant control must respond accurately and sensitively; the motor and reducer must operate without abnormal noises.
- The brakes must be responsive and reliable.
- The electric hoist's running track must be free of foreign objects.
- The upper and lower limit switches must function accurately and sensitively.
- The retaining nut on the lifting hook must be securely fastened.
- The lifting hook must rotate freely in both horizontal and vertical directions.
- The hook sheave must rotate freely.
- The wire rope must be free of visible cracks, neatly wound on the drum, and show no signs of slipping out of the sheave groove, twisting, or overlapping; it must also be well-lubricated.
- Lifting accessories and rigging gear must show no signs of abnormality.
- The operating ambient temperature for the electric hoist is -25°C to +40°C.
- The electric hoist is not suitable for use in environments filled with corrosive gases or where the relative humidity exceeds 85%; it cannot serve as a substitute for explosion-proof hoists and should not be used to lift molten metal or toxic, flammable, or explosive materials.
(2) The electric hoist must not be used for side-pulling or oblique lifting of loads; overloading the hoist is strictly prohibited.
(3) During operation, the operator must constantly monitor the wire rope for signs of improper winding, knotting, slipping out of the groove, or excessive wear; if any such issues are detected, they must be rectified immediately. Additionally, the rope guide and limit switches should be checked frequently to ensure they remain safe and reliable.
(4) During routine operations, the limit switches must not be intentionally used as the primary means to stop the lifting of a load or to halt the equipment's operation.
(5) Upon completion of work, the main power switch must be turned off to disconnect the primary power supply.
(6) A designated maintenance technician should be assigned to inspect the electric hoist's key performance parameters and safety status once a week, promptly resolving any faults or malfunctions discovered.
